Abstract:This study examines the dynamics of the industrialization in the late industrialized countries in terms of the theoretical framework which developed by Alexander Gerschenkron. Accordingly in these countries, the policies of government effectively substituted for the lacking prerequisites of modern industrialization. In this study, the effects on the industrialization of the systematic factors caused by state policies is assessed in the context of different countries. In this study, the countries which failed to realize their industrial spurt is also mentioned.
