In thus study, it purposed to investigate the effets of tencel fibre ratio in the yarn composition on the properties of the yarns and fabrics made from this weft yarns.Firstly, it was made a detailed literature research about tencel fiber and earlier studies.After it was produced five diffirent blending ratio yarns (% 25 tencel - % 75 cotton, % 50 tencel - % 50 cotton, % 75 tencel-% 25 cotton, % 100 tencel and % 100 cotton combed) in a controlled way within Rapid Assistance Project, numered HDP(MH)–2014/62, headed 'Investigation of the effects on properties of weaving fabric of tencel and blending yarns'. İt was used the produced yarns as the weft yarn and was produced five diffirent blending ratio fabrics. After it was complete the production stages, it has been tested the physical and strength properties of these yarns in accordance with standard. In the next step, it has been tested the physical, strength and comfort properties of these raw – finished weaving fabrics in accordance with standard. Finally, the obtained measurement results was analyzed statistically on SPSS programe in 0,05 level of significance. As a results of studies, the effets of tencel fibreratioin the yarn composition on the properties of the yarns and fabrics made from this yarns was significant. It was increased of breaking strength and moisture values of yarns and; descreased evenness values of yarns depending on increasing tencel ratio in blending. It was increased breaking and shearing strength and air permeability values of weaving fabrics depending on increasing tencel ratio in blending.
