Abstract:

Borcalı region in the center of the Caucasus began to be a homeland to the Turks before Christ, XI. century with the conquest of the Caucasus by the Seljuks was translated into the Turkish-Islamic geography. Borcalı has an exceptional place in Turkish history throughout the history of the Caspian, Seljuk, Ildeniz Atabekler, Timur, Karakoyunlu, Akkoyunlu, Safavid, Ottoman, Avşar and Kaçar took place in the composition of the Turkish dynasties, has taken its place in the history of Turkish and Islamic. The Borrower’s position as a border between Muslims and Christians has led him to challenge wars and peace throughout history. In addition, they have been effective in the Turkification and Islamization of the Caucasus and Eastern Anatolia thanks to the influx of Turks in the region. X. century XV. In the period of various Turkish dynasties that ruled in the territory of Azerbaijan until the 19th century, the region became a Turkish settlement in large masses and became the upper region of the Turkish raiders. XVI. century, the two major Turkish states, the Ottoman and Safavid changed the hands of the square by turning to war square. XVII. At the beginning of the 20th century, an administrative institution with the status of Sultanate (Khanate) was established in Borcalı region and the situation continued until the Russian occupation. XI. century uninterrupted Turkish domination that began in Borcalı, XIX. century ended with the Russian occupation. VII in the Borrower. Islamic dominance, which began in the 18th century, was interrupted by the Russian occupation, but XX. At the beginning of the century, the Soviets tried to eliminate them. The history of Borcalı Region, which is an important part of Caucasus Turkishness and Turkish Islamic history, has been handled as a whole in accordance with chronology. In this thesis, VII-XIX. All phases of the historical phases between the centuries were evaluated and all political aspects were tried to be put forward in an independent and impartial manner.
