Abstract:

Mustafakemalpaşa district of Bursa, which is our area of study, has a good position compared to many other provinces of our country which is lucky in general. The main livelihood of the population living in our study area, which has fertile plains and a mild climate, is undoubtedly agricultural activities. In the face of the rapidly increasing population, the limited natural resources of the countries should be used in a certain plan and with care. Countries within the natural resources that cannot make good use of their lands, which have a limited area, will not have a healthy society and will not be dependent on other agricultural countries. At this point, pixel based controlled classification was made by using Landsat-8 satellite image with medium resolution. The information obtained as a result of this process has been interpreted and evaluated. In this thesis, why pixel based controlled classification is made and advantages of this method are mentioned. In this study, detailed information about Landsat 8 satellite image is explained and 11 different bands and their usage features and advantages are explained. In this way, 11 different thematic maps representing the project area were obtained. Thus, information was obtained about the parcels of unknown plant pattern planted as a result of controlled classification. Accuracy analysis was performed to determine how safe the classified image was obtained statistically. In the accuracy analysis, a total of 100 control points, 25 control points for each class, were selected and the error matrix was generated and the overall accuracy value was calculated. In the light of this information, it is aimed to carry out the planned agricultural activities in the following years in order to obtain higher yields with less cost. In this way, it was aimed to draw attention to the point that it can contribute to the national economy.
