Investigation of yield and quality traits performance of some advanced bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in Bursa conditions

This study which was conducted to investigate for yield and quality traits to some advanced bread wheat lines (Triticum aestivum L.) which were planted with 3 replications 6m² (5m x 1,2 m) plots at Application and Research Center, Uludag University Faculty of Agriculture, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 growing season conditions in Bursa province. Agronomic traits were measured at Uludag University Faculty of Agriculture laboratories and quality analyzes were carried out at Beyab Food Engineering Products Co.? s laboratories. In this study, plant height, per spike length, spikelet number, grain number per spike, thousand grain weight, square in the number of spikes, grain yield, normal sedimentation, sedimentation, falling number, gluten, gluten index, test weight, protein content, such as yield and quality characteristics were investigated. As a result properties of gluten content and grain yield, test weight, taken together with the protein content values of 400 kg/ha of grain yield and on the striking (SBxK) and (Gx22-1) of the average in terms of the quality characteristics of the lines.
