Abstract:Cities that are evolved hand in hand with Industrial Evolution, have met problems with effects of social and global events. Worldwide causes such as rapid growth, environmental pollution, disorganized structuring, physical disruption, war, industry and our country related causes like squatting, migration, illegal urbanization, insufficient infrastructure, natural disasters and weak protection of historical structures have given rise to unhealthy and unqualified urban areas. Urban transformation that has become current issue in the interest of reconstruction and making available of these urban areas which have lost their value for city structure, contains diverse application methods during historical process and has developed in time.Urban transformation is a multidimensional and coordinated process that creates sustainable solutions in troubled urban areas in physical, social-cultural and economic ways; however, the challenges of participation, legal regulations, organization and projects that are not applied according to dynamics of area prevent the successful renewals. As a consequence of that, along with the unqualified structure and areas that can't satisfy the expectation of consumers, unlawful profit, unearned income, social exclusion and unlawfulness arise. That's why, qualified structures must be produced at the end of the urban transformation in order to achieve successful urban renewals that are appropriate to urban life quality and integrative with the city. In this thesis study, research was done about how to achieve production of qualified structure during urban transformation and suggestions are given. In this context, concept of urban transformation and production of qualified structure was studied, elements and parameters that affect consumer satisfaction during urban transformation were identified and sample cases of renewal were analyzed and results were evaluated.
