Abstract:

In this study, Verbascum yurtkuranianum Kaynak, Daşkın & Yılmaz, and Verbascum bugulifolium Lam. species, morphological, anatomical, palynological and micromorphological studies have been made. Verbascum belongs to the family Scrophulariaceae. V. yurtkuranianum is a biennial, densely glandular pubescent on the upper parts, basal leaves broadly ovate, corolla purple-violet. Pollen type is tricolpat, pollen shape is prolate-sphaeroidae, ornamentation reticulate. V. bugulifolium is a twoyear, hairless, basal leaves ovate, yellowish-greenish with a corolla. Pollen type is tricolpat, pollen shape is prolate-sphaeroidae, ornamentation reticulate.
